Today’s engineer faces a market that is increasingly demanding and competitive and must provide a service to a society that is increasingly concerned with reliability, safety and the environmental impact of engineering processes. The introduction of new technologies requires the engineer not only to be an expert in the subject they work on, but also be prepared to employ a wide range of tools for analysis, measurement, modeling and design.

The program aims to give students a comprehensive education in the area of mechanical engineering in its broadest conception.  As such, its courses are designed to provide students with the basic tools of research most commonly used in these areas, and more specific ones oriented to providing them with knowledge directly related to industrial application.

The Master’s in Mechanical Engineering and Transportation is geared towards students who wish to acquire skills and specific knowledge in the field of design, fabrication, diagnosis of machines with a wide application to industry, particularly in the area of vehicles and transportation.

The degree has the collaboration of professionals belonging to prestigious companies in the sector such as Alston, General Dynamics or Robert Bosch, who can offer non-curricular scholarships to develop new product development projects, working within the R&D teams, and even being able to develop the TFM related to some of these projects.
